I would like to thank iTunes for ripping my music collection to shreds. It seems that when you tell iTunes to organize your music collecion, it completely rips apart compilation albums and sticks them into seperat folders called "Unknown Album"s. So now, my 27 gigs worth of music that I ripped myself has been completely ripped apart and reshuffled the way apple thought it should go. Very nice. I can't even find album cover scans that I scanned myself and placed in the folders. I have some songs in folders that don't even belong to the artist.

So, I just wanted to take this oppertunity to thank Apple and iTunes for wrecking my music library. I guess I'll have to start ripping my music again. It's easier to rip then to re-organize this mess. But this time, I'll stick with Windows Media Player 11. Apple makes fantastic devices. But they try to make their software too smart. So smart that iTunes choses it's own algorithums rather then seeing what was alread established in a music folder as a complete album. My iPods: Fantastic. My iTunes software: ugh... Die in a fire and then treat your wounds with salt water.

And I'm sorry I haven't written here in a while. Been really busy. I'll update eventually. For now, in my opinion, iTunes sucks for music organization.
